Hi, I’m Kelly — a professional dog trainer with a passion for helping dogs and their humans live happier, more harmonious lives together. I’ve been working with dogs professionally since 2018, driven by a deep commitment to understanding canine behavior from every angle — emotional, physical, and environmental.
My approach is holistic, recognizing that a dog’s behaviour is shaped by their experiences, lifestyle, and overall well-being. I believe training isn’t just about teaching commands — it’s about nurturing communication, trust, and mutual understanding between dog and owner.
I’m deeply committed to ongoing education and keeping my methods modern, ethical, and effective. Over the years, I’ve attended workshops and completed courses with some of the most respected trainers and behaviourists in the industry, including Dr. Melanie Udhe, Pat Stuart, Jacob Morgan, and Jay Jack. Currently, I’m immersed in a comprehensive three-year Behaviour Bible course with The School of Canine Science and am proud to be part of a mentorship with renowned behaviourist Jo-Rosie Haffenden.
A big part of what has shaped me as a trainer is my own dog, Roo, a sweet Romanian rescue who joined my life in 2023. Roo’s early experiences were tough — found roadside as a tiny puppy alongside her sisters. Like many foreign rescues, she’s faced challenges with confidence and adapting to a new world. Supporting Roo on her journey has deepened my empathy and reinforced my belief in the power of patient, thoughtful training. Watching her grow and thrive is a constant reminder of why I do what I do.
